Gordon Tomaselli is the Michel Mirowski, M.D. Professor of Cardiology and Director of Cardiology at Johns Hopkins. He is an expert in the fields of sudden cardiac death and arrhythmias. His research focuses on ion channel structure, function and remodeling. He holds several patents on methods to improve heart function and prevent arrhythmias, including an implantable device for the delivery of cell-derived biomolecules. Dr. Tomaselli is a Past-President of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Society and the American Heart Association. He is the current Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Clinical Investigation.
