Dr. Mhaka is a lifesciences executive, investment professional, and entrepreneur with a passion for global health. Leveraging expertise in biomedical discovery, technology development, healthcare delivery, and fundraising she creates transformative healthcare advances impactful on a global scale. Utilizing her experience in cross-disciplinary multi-stakeholder approaches, Dr. Mhaka co-founded the Alliance for Artificial Intelligence in (AAIH), a global organization comprising of 25+ members dedicated to resolving the myriad challenges facing the growing field of AI based life sciences and healthcare solutions. In addition to her track record of 50+ cross-industry deals in both the private and public sector, she has co-founded four companies, and generated over $200 million in deliverables. Dr. Mhaka received her PhD from Johns Hopkins Medicine where she developed a clinical phase oncology drug and attained her BSc in Chemistry with highest honors from University of Pittsburgh.
