Chris Hlubb

Principal, American Salmon Aquafarms, Inc.

Chris Hlubb is pursuing one of the most significant aquaculture projects in North America—to develop the first truly sustainable land-based recirculating aquafarm. He is leading the team which includes global executives, engineers and conservationists that is converting a former poultry processing plant into a state-of-the-art vertically integrated salmon aquaculture operation. When complete, it will represent the aquafarm-of-the-future, with the potential to be replicated around the country.

Earlier, Chris was a food and aquaculture industry executive who proposed new means of growth through strategic start-up innovations and turn-around successes in manufacturing and distribution. He has developed and negotiated international industry & trade policies and enhanced product development and investment in middle market private entities. Chris began his career in genetic research at Johns Hopkins.

Chris also divides his time as the Program Director of the F3 Tech Accelerator program.
