Dr. Michael Tangrea is Senior Scientific Director at LifeBridge Health, a community healthcare system serving Central Maryland. In this role, Michael leads a translational research laboratory, oversees the clinical cancer research program and works with biomedical startup companies in the LifeBridge Health BioIncubator at Sinai Hospital, which he helped establish in 2016. Dr. Tangrea also cofounded the workforce development initiative, the Mid-Atlantic Biology Research and Career Network. Prior to joining LifeBridge Health, Dr. Tangrea developed novel precision medicine technologies at NCI for over twelve years. Michael graduated with a B.S. from Loyola and a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland.
