Greg Laird

Co-Founder, Accelevir Diagnostics

Gregory Laird, PhD, is a co-founder of Accelevir Diagnostics, a Johns Hopkins spin-out company currently focused on developing ultrasensitive molecular assays that enable research and clinical development towards HIV-1 Cure. Greg has been engaged in HIV-1 Cure research for nearly a decade, and his record includes high-profile publications, presentations, and grants focused on the mechanisms governing HIV-1 persistence and the development of new approaches to quantify and eliminate latent HIV-1.

Greg earned his PhD in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at Johns Hopkins University and his B.S. at Duke University. Greg volunteers as an Instructor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins Medicine.
