Julie Lenzer has been involved in every part of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, from award winning serial entrepreneur, angel investor and community champion to policy and program oversight in the federal, state, and local government. A computer geek by background who built a successful software company focused on plant floor data collection and analytics for Fortune 100 clients, Julie has spent the last several years building and connecting entrepreneurial ecosystems. She is currently Chief Innovation Officer at the University of Maryland and former Director of the Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the US Department of Commerce under President Obama.
